At Transcend Workplace Consulting & Investigations, we conduct a diverse range of investigations, including complaints of sexual harassment, workplace harassment, discrimination, violence, bullying, poisoned work environments, reprisal, conflict of interest, theft, and other forms of misconduct. In addition, we provide peer investigation report reviews and can act as an oversight for managers and HR professionals as they conduct their internal investigations.

We employ a trauma-informed, anti-racism, and anti-oppression approach in conducting our investigations.

Workplace Assessment + Review

Need an assessor to ensure a healthy team and work environment?

Our assessment and reviews bring problematic behaviours such as harassment, discrimination, loss of respect in the workplace, bullying, and other issues to the forefront which enables the organization to resolve them before they become litigious, public, or costly.

After completing our assessment, we provide the organization with a detailed report outlining our process, summary of responses, our findings, and recommendations (if necessary) which empowers our clients to create and maintain positive changes in their workplaces.

Need a mediator who can creatively resolve your workplace disputes?

We work collaboratively with parties to craft a solution that meets their unique circumstances which further encourages parties to settle their dispute without the need for costly and time-consuming litigation.

Transcend Workplace Consulting & Investigations help individuals and organizations to bring finality to their disputes by employing an evaluative mediation approach where we give parties our opinion on the strengths and weaknesses of their dispute and inform them of what the possible result may be at trial.

At Transcend Workplace Consulting & Investigations, we can teach your HR professionals or managers how to conduct a proper and defensible investigation; improper investigations can undermine workplace culture which can result in legal action or a complaint to the Ministry of Labour.

Equity Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)

High-quality training helps all employees to see the true value of an inclusive workplace and it can help organizations ensure that no employees behave unlawfully at work. In addition, if an organization ever does have to defend its position regarding a discrimination or harassment claim, the organization would have to show that it took all reasonably practicable steps to prevent any wrongdoing; and one of these steps is ensuring that all of its employees have undergone EDI training. 

Bullying and Harassment

Employers are mandated under the Ontario Health and Safety Act, to provide appropriate information and instruction to workers on the contents of the workplace violence and harassment policies and programs.

Employers need to take an active step (through training) to prevent workplace bullying and harassment in their workplaces, meet their legal obligation, and protect their business and reputation.
